There are 30 faculties in the Department of Management Science and Engineering, including 8 professors, 6 tutors of PhD candidates, associate professors. It is a young, strong and innovational high quality teaching group that has professional team-work spirit.
In these years, our teachers have published hundreds of papers in international SSCI, SCI, EI journals and Chinese core journals, undertaken lots of research projects supported by state, Ministries and Jiangsu Province. We are actively participating in the heavy construction projects, and also taking part in the research, development and personnel training of the financial supervision departments, financial organizations and all kind of enterprises and institutions.

Department of Control and System Engineering

There are 2 Professors, 7 associate professors, 2 lecturers, and some Laboratory technicians in the department of Control and System Engineering. 90% of them have doctor title and graduated from world famous universities. Now they have become a high-level teaching and research team, which has rational set-up, devoted willing, unity and pioneering spirit.  
In recent years, this department has undertaken 7 projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, 6 projects supported by the Foundation of Ministries and provinces, 8 national defense programs, more than 10 technological programs supported by companies. There are more than 10 million Yuan research funds. This department has issued hundreds of papers, including nearly hundred SCI, EI and ISTP articles.

Institute of Optical Communication Engineering

There are 4 professors (including 2 Si Yuan chair professors), 5 associate professors, 1 senior engineer, 3 lecturers, and some Laboratory technicians in the institute of Optical communication engineering
Since her foundation, IOCE has been undertaking more than 40 research programs, such as national 973 and 863 programs, projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, by the advanced research foundation of national defense, by the National Key Technologies R & D Program of Jiangsu province of China, by special foundation for Information Technology of Jiangsu Province and so on. There are more than 50 million Yuan of research funds for this department. They have applied and received 36 national invention patent, 4 model utility patent, obtained more than 10 rewards (such as the first prize of Science and Technology award by education ministry), issued more than 200 papers, including over 100 SCI, EI and ISTP articles.
